Target Group: 

This course is aimed at any person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in the erection, dismantling and use of Mobile Access Towers

Aim and Objectives:

Is to provide the candidates with the necessary information to safely erect, use, inspect and dismantle aluminium or fibreglass Mobile Access Towers.

At the end of the instruction the candidate will be able to:

  • Have an understanding of the statutory regulations
  • Inspect Mobile Access Tower equipment
  • Identify Safe Working Heights
  • Understand Safe Working Loads
  • Moving Mobile Access Towers
  • Use and inspect Mobile Access Towers

  • Health & Safety legislation & regulations in scaffolding
  • PASMA Code of Practice
  • Safe Working at Heights
  • Identifying Mobile Access Tower equipment
  • Manufactures Instruction Manuals
  • Ground and site conditions
  • Sequence of erecting and dismantling Mobile Access Towers
  • Use of stabilisers, outriggers ties
  • Advanced guardrail systems
  • Moving and repositioning erected towers
  • Inspection report procedures

Training Location Options:



Certificates and ID Cards are included in the cost of this course and are produced by BEIS Ltd which is valid for 5 years. They will be forwarded to the customer once payment has been received in full.


You will be required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during the practical aspects of your course

You will be required to bring with you your own hard hat, safety boots, high visibility vest and, eye Protection (for Brand Sites).

(* PPE can be provided by at additional cost - please indicate requirement and we will provide hire cost)
